Kerala Chicken Curry Made with Eastern Chicken Masala










Kerala Chicken Curry


You will need



Medium sized chicken chopped into pieces – 1kg

Eastern Chicken Masala- 5 tablespoon

Big onion slices / ( small onion 250g )- 1 tea cup

Sliced ginger- 1 tablespoon

Garlic – 10 cloves

Green chillies – 2

Curry leaves - 2 springs

Coconut oil / cooking oil – 1 tablespoon

Mustard seeds – 1 teaspoon

Salt- to taste


Preparation

Add Eastern chicken masala and salt to chopped meat, rub in and leave for ten minutes. Grind ginger, garlic and green chillies into a fine paste, and set aside.


Heat oil in a frying pan, cracke mustard and fry onion. Add ginger, garlic and green chilly paste and stir well. Add curry leaves , chicken pieces   , salt  and 3 cups of water and cook till done. Nice recipe, i have tried this it was good, but i was not having parota rice or appam, i had with bread it was superb.
